We are dedicated to your satisfaction. If you have questions, suggestions or comments please email us by clicking on our "Contact Us" page.  We are a small shop and our employees are also our mechanics so please give us time to respond - we will do so as promptly as possible.

MAKING A PURCHASE

Please browse our Catalogs, and click on any items for more information or to place the item into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on the "Checkout" button to complete your order.  We accept Paypal or credit card payment.

BATTERY/CORE CHARGE

Due to shipping regulations, batteries are shipped dry (No acid).

A core charge may be applied to engine assemblies, crankshafts, pistons, or other remanufactured items.  

REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

Customers should inspect all shipments upon receipt.  If you receive a damaged package, you may refuse delivery and the order will be returned to shipper.  If you note damage after accepting your package please contact us immediately at 757-289-2923 (Option 2) or parts@openairjeeps.com; we will assist in filing a claim with the carrier.  Please describe any damage and provide photographs of the packaging and damaged parts.  Keep all packaging and parts in the same condition as they arrived.  The carrier may request a physical inspection of the package and they may void the claim if you do not retain the original packaging.  Shipping damage claims must normally be filed within five days of receiving shipment.

Returns may be authorized within 30 days of invoice.  All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number.  If you wish to return an item, please contact us immediately with reason for the return and whether you desire a replacement, exchange, refund or credit.  We will provide a RA number and instructions for return shipping.  Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Items returned with approved RA in accordance with the return policy are eligible for full refund minus shipping costs and 20% restocking fee as applicable.

Returned items must be in resalable condition in original packaging including all manufacturer documentation, marketing material, warranty/registration paperwork, and/or installation instructions.

Returns are not accepted for Electrical Parts, Decals or Emblems, Custom or Special Order Merchandise, or for any item that has been installed, used, or otherwise damaged in a manner that renders it not resalable. 

Oversized or overweight parts may incur additional charges.

ORDER/CANCELLATION POLICY

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel an order or change an item after the order has been placed, please contact us immediately.  Please be aware that in some situations an item is shipped directly from a manufacturer or distributor. Once your item has processed and shipped from the manufacturer or distributor, there is no stopping it! Cancellation of an item or order at this point will be subject to the above return policy. Post-order size changes are subject to the appropriate exchange fee. 

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

We process your order right away in an effort to meet the time frame specified for each item.  Please be advised that due to circumstances beyond our control in the current supply chain environment, delivery times are sometimes exceeding the carrier's shipping estimates.  If you have not received your item in within the estimated delivery window, please contact us directly for an update.  We will do everything we can to assist.  For Will Call or back orders, you will be notified when your order is ready for pickup or shipping.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Open Air Jeeps will accept and ship international orders only upon pre-approval.  The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches that country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Any and all orders abandoned or refused delivery forfeit refund.  There are no returns on international shipments.

BACK ORDERS

Please be advised in the current environment that manufacturers' parts inventories are not always accurate and we have experienced shortages on some parts or longer than expected times to fill orders.  We will do everything that we can to provide accurate inventories via our catalog.  You will be notified if your item is not in stock, and we will back order for you if desired.  You will have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

PRICE CHANGES / Shipping rates

Catalog prices and shipping rates are subject to change at any time.  Oversized or overweight items may incur additional shipping charges.  In the event that this happens we will contact you prior to shipping and you will have the option to accept the change or cancel the order.

TAX CHARGES

For orders made from within the United States, applicable sales tax will be applied.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

All credit card information is encrypted using 256 bit encryption and is not held in clear text on any web site.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO FREIGHT ORDERS

Please be sure to inspect freight shipments for damage prior to signing for it. If there is noticeable damage to the box or crate, please inspect the contents for damage as well. Please ensure that your shipment has arrived in good condition prior to signing for it. In the event that parts are damaged in shipment it is important that you refuse delivery and contact us immediately. By signing for a freight shipment, you are agreeing that it was delivered in good condition, therefore no damage claim can be filed with the carrier. If your delivery is being shipped to a commercial address, please ensure that receiving employees inspect for damage before signing any paperwork. Customer is liable for damages discovered after accepting delivery.

**LIFT GATE NOTE** In the event that you should require a lift gate, the customer is responsible for the charges.  Customers will be billed directly by the carrier for lift gate charges.
